My grandmother, the matriarch and heart of my dad's side of the family, has been fighting lung cancer for about 2 years now. I feel really lucky whenever I get to spend time with her now. Anyway, I can't listen to this song without breaking down thinking of her. Thank you to Taylor for this song. It really gets at something real about family and reminds me even more to cherish the time I have.

Before quarantine but when everyone still knew about covid my grandma passed away and I stayed in that hospital for eight hours before going home at 2am. 15 minutes later she passed away. I somehow remember sensing something like she was passing away when I was in bed but I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me. Now I know it wasn’t and my grandma loved me so much :) I miss you Oma and I love you ❤️

My grandmother passed away when i was 1 year old. I don't know anything about her how she was. I know very little about her. I miss her i wish that i can go back in time and meet her.
